NVCA arms the venture community for success by providing practical education to new and experienced industry professionals. Our key programs include:
- Stanford/NVCA Venture Capital Symposium – annual, two-day program at Stanford covering topics to respond effectively to new governance challenges at venture capital firms and at portfolio companies, as well as best practices in fund management and limited partner relationships.
- VC University, a joint initiative by UC Berkeley’s Startup@BerkeleyLaw and NVCA – online curriculum and in-person events throughout the year provide practical on venture finance to participants across the country.
- LP Office Hours – two half-day workshops per year held across the country for venture fund managers currently underrepresented in the ecosystem to learn best practices from and build relationships with limited partners (i.e., “LPs” or investors in venture funds) for fundraising.
In addition, NVCA member peers groups offer educational programming throughout the year. Learn more here
