R.L. Condra Vice President of Government Affairs

R.L. Condra brings over two decades of experience working with Congress, the Administration and federal agencies on policy and advocacy issues.

Prior to joining NVCA, Condra spent 10 years at the National Cooperative Bank as Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Government Programs where he directed federal and state legislative activities. Before NCB, Condra served as Vice President of Advocacy for the National Cooperative Business Association, a trade association that represents over 75,000 cooperatives and multiple business sectors.

Condra gained his Capitol Hill experience by serving as Professional Staff and Advisor to Chairwoman Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.

Condra began his professional career with the Delta Regional Authority, a regional economic development commission, created by Congress to stimulate economic growth in the Mississippi Delta region. In this capacity, he oversaw the Washington, DC, office and advised presidential appointees with the George W. Bush Administration. Condra graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Agriculture Business. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two young daughters and reside in Vienna, Virginia.
