Spend your summer at the intersection of venture capital, public policy, and innovation. As a Summer 2026 Intern at the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), you’ll gain a front-row seat to the forces shaping America’s next generation of companies.

This paid, rotational internship offers hands-on experience supporting NVCA’s public policy, research, communications, membership, and operations work. You will be provided with a rare look at how investors, founders, and policymakers collaborate to fuel innovation-driven economic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze public policy issues shaping venture capital and startup ecosystems.
  • Support member engagement initiatives and interact with NVCA member firms
  • Assist NVCA communications/marketing, including newsletters, social media, and web content.
  • Contribute to internal operations projects that improve team efficiency, organization, and processes.

Qualifications

  • Rising junior or senior undergraduate or graduate student with a demonstrated interest in venture capital, financial markets, or public policy.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and Adobe suites.
  • Working knowledge of Pitchbook and Salesforce.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
