Nick Beim, Partner, Venrock

As a Partner at Venrock, Nick focuses on artificial intelligence, software, fintech, and defense investments. He invests in companies with significant disruptive potential and helps them develop their products and business strategies. When he is not thinking about breakthrough technology solutions, Nick makes an impact at the intersection of public policy and technology. He serves on the Board of Directors at the Council on Foreign Relations and on the Executive Advisory Committee at the Center on Global Energy Policy.  

Rebecca Gevalt, Partner, Dcode Capital

Rebecca serves as a Partner at Dcode Capital with a range of experience bringing tech startups into the national security space. In her former role, as Dcode’s Tech Managing Director, Rebecca built and operated the stage-agnostic accelerator program, scaling venture-backed tech into the federal market. Using her government expertise, she launched Dcode’s government business initiative to teach government stakeholders how to find and contract with non–traditional tech companies. NVCA recently featured Rebecca in our Member Spotlight series to highlight Dcode’s work in helping the federal government better serve and protect Americans. 

Alex Doll, Founder and Managing General Partner, Ten Eleven Ventures

Alex is the Founder and Managing General Partner of Ten Eleven Ventures, a specialized venture capital firm dedicated to helping cybersecurity companies thrive. The firm’s 2014 founding brought together Alex’s previous experiences in finance, investing, software, and security operating roles. Since its inception, Ten Eleven Ventures has raised more than $1 billion invested in 40 cybersecurity companies.

Bilal Zuberi, Partner, Lux Capital

Born in Pakistan, Bilal earned a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He went on to co-found GEO2 Technologies before launching his path in venture capital. Today, Bilal serves as General Partner at Lux Capital where he is drawn to startups and founders that solve the world’s largest problems with technologically ambitious solutions across multiple industries (enterprise software, deeptech, healthcare) and stages (from seed to growth).  

Matt Bigge, Partner, Crosslink Capital

At Crosslink Capital, Matt focuses on venture investments in enterprise and industrial IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and plausible science fiction. Prior to his VC career, Matt served in the U.S. Army with a distinguished record as an Infantry officer and Ranger in the 10th Mountain Division. As an entrepreneur and investor with more than two decades of general management and venture investing experience, he has a strong record of investing in leading-edge technology companies.
