NVCA Taps New Vice President of Communications and Marketing

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) has named communications veteran and former White House TV correspondent Sabrina Fang, Vice President of Communications and Marketing.

“Sabrina brings diverse communications knowledge and expertise to help strengthen the voice of the U.S. venture capital and startup community at a critical time in our nation,” said NVCA President and CEO Bobby Franklin. “Having spent years in high level communications roles, she will be instrumental in helping the industry share its stories about investment and job creation in America and supporting America’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

Fang most recently served as a senior communicator at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce focused on bipartisan communications strategies critical to the business community. Prior to that, she spent eight years at the American Petroleum Institute where she managed policy changing communications campaigns. She also spent nearly 15 years in broadcast journalism. She covered the White House for seven years for Tribune Broadcasting, and reported on major national and political events, including the 2009 Inauguration of President Barack Obama, Hurricane Katrina, and the space shuttle Columbia explosion.
