Partnership Will Provide Educational Resources and Networking Opportunities to Support Entrepreneurs at Every Stage of Development
WASHINGTON, DC – The National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) and the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center today announced a partnership to leverage their resources to foster entrepreneurship and innovation. The partnership will serve as a vehicle for collaboration and direct engagement with entrepreneurs at every stage of development to provide networking and educational opportunities. The partnership will officially kickoff at NVCA’s Office Hours for Entrepreneurs, which will take place at VentureScape 2015, NVCA’s annual conference on May 6-7 in San Francisco. Now in its third year, Office Hours for Entrepreneurs links startups from the across the U.S. and around the globe with venture capitalists and seasoned entrepreneurs for a series of workshops to build the next generation of game changing companies.
Nicola Corzine, Executive Director of Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, will lead Pivotal Moments session at Office Hours during VentureScape to provide entrepreneurs with practical insights through real-life case studies and data-driven insights that will shape their ability to grow their businesses and continue on their journeys toward success. Jeff Thomas, Vice President of Nasdaq Private Market, Ian Charles, CFO of Host Analytics and Ty Walrod, co-founder and CEO of Bright Funds will join the panel discussion.

The Office Hours class of 2015 includes 40 high-potential companies representing 10 industries from across the U.S. and around the globe. Companies hail from Michigan, Tennessee, New York, Texas, California, Maryland, Indiana, Oklahoma, Colorado, Chicago, Michigan, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Illinois, and Paris, France. Office Hours 2015 Chair John Backus, co-founder of New Atlantic Ventures, American Airlines, IBM Global Entrepreneur program, Business France, Manos Accelerator, Springboard, Launch Tennessee and Ann Arbor SPARK are supporting Office Hours alongside Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center.
