VICE PRESIDENT, INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT
Based in our San Francisco office, Stephanie Volk leads industry engagement at NVCA and is responsible for developing relationships with NVCA’s 400+ members across the country, including growing the member community. Through outreach, events, and resources, she fosters dialogue between NVCA and member firms to ensure the organization is focused on the policies and initiatives that matter most to the VC community. Stephanie also oversees NVCA’s Corporate Venture network and programming.
Prior to NVCA, Stephanie managed commercial development and platform activities at GE Ventures, including the design, launch, and expansion of GE Ventures’ value add program, EDGE. At GEV, she also supported key efforts to cultivate partnerships across the VC ecosystem. Before joining GE’s venture team, Stephanie participated in the company’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP), contributing to strategic marketing, new market development, and sales enablement within GE Capital and GE Digital.
Stephanie began her career working on education reform and economic development initiatives in New York City under former Mayor Michael Bloomberg. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University and her MBA and Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan.
