Hardwood or Laminate…The Pros and Cons of Board Directorship

Serving as a Board Director has its opportunities and challenges.  Some CVCs choose to participate in the governance of their startup companies by taking director positions, while some do not. 

Join us at Noon Eastern on Friday, March 27th as corporate venture practitioners and other thought-leaders share their experiences regarding the ins and outs of Board representation.  This informal discussion will examine:

  • When and why board seats are taken versus observation rights
  • Whether the venture team or business unit is the best board representative
  • Best practices with respect to managing activities
